DI Post's Role

For Coyotes, DI Post built the movie’s central character from the ground up. We designed, animated, and integrated over 125 visual effects shots of the titular predators using a hybrid CG pipeline built for realism and speed. Our team:

  • Designed the digital coyotes from scratch
  • Built muscle and fur systems for believable motion
  • Integrated CG with practical photography in low-light environments
  • Executed night-for-night compositing under aggressive indie timelines
  • Maintained continuity across wide, medium, and attack coverage

Beyond VFX, DI Post cut the official trailer - shaping the marketing around a hybrid of horror and humor.
